Welcome to my small corner of the internet. I am just an ordinary woman in her 40s living in Korea. I started this blog to document my attempts at a simpler life. I wanted to clear the clutter from my home and my head.
Note: This is not professional environmental advice. It is simply a record of my personal experiences and daily routines.
Why did I start looking at my trash bin?
One evening, I looked at my recycling bin. It was overflowing with plastic and packaging. I realized I was literally throwing my money away. That moment really bothered me. I wasn’t trying to be a perfect environmentalist. I just wanted to stop wasting things.
I realized that “Zero Waste” isn’t just about the earth. It is about valuing what I already have. It is about saving money on things I don’t need. It just felt like the right meaningful change for my age.
My messy and imperfect routine
Please don’t expect perfection here. I am not a strict expert who fits all her trash in a jar.
I still buy tofu in plastic packages. I sometimes forget my reusable cup. I get tired and order delivery food.
That is okay. I believe doing “Zero Waste” imperfectly is better than doing nothing at all. I share the small, realistic habits that actually survived my busy schedule. If a method is too hard or expensive, I don’t do it.
What you will find on Koritips
My current focus is entirely on Zero Waste living. But I approach it from a practical view.
- Honest Reviews: I test eco-friendly products so you don’t waste money.
- Reuse Tips: I look for ways to use what we already have at home.
- Cost Savings: I track how much money these habits actually save me.
I write about what worked for me and what failed miserably. I hope my stories help you make your life a little lighter too.
Thank you for visiting.
